ABOUT MASTER HORNE AND SANGAKU BUJUTSU

James R. Horne started his Asian martial arts training on Okinawa, Japan in 1959 while stationed there with the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Horne returned to the United States in 1962 and continued his training as a member of the 2nd marine division karate team, where he competed throughout the United States.

Over the last 49 years Mr. Horne has been awarded a Masters degree in karate and Teachers licenses in several Asian martial disciplines including Kenjutsu and KobuJutsu, Jujitsu, and Aikido.

Master Horne is currently recognized as 9th Dan by the all Japan Seibukan Martial Arts Association. Has a Ph. D. from the Global Martial Arts Federation / Hong Kong Dragon Sign Athletic Association Ltd. A Sokenship from the Zen Kokusai Budo/Bugi Renmei. A 9th Dan from the American Jujitsu / Karate Association. A 7th Dan Kyoshi From the Okinawaan Shoriin-Ryu Matsumura Kempo Karate and Kobudo Association. An 8th Dan Kyoshi from the United States Karate-Do Kai, Shihan by the Okinawan Matsusokan Shorin-Ryu Kai, and 1st Dan from Aikido Schools of Ueshiba.
